Tasting notes

“An impressive wine that feels very true to the estate, with plenty of St Emilion signature - plump rich fruits and grilled oak without being overblown. Elegant, restrained with well placed blackberry and cherry, this really unrolls in the glass and is extremely enjoyable. There is twice as much Cabernet Franc as usual in the blend of the first wine, and it shows in the tension and lift through the finish. HVE3-certified. 60% new oak. Harvest September 26 to October 11.”

Jane Anson - Decanter : 93

"A layered red with dark berries, chocolate and crushed stone with some white-pepper character. Medium to full body, round tannins and a juicy finish. Like the layers to this.”

James Suckling : 92-93
